About

The New Computer Museum facilitates the preservation and exhibition of a wide range of computing systems in their original state for the public to experience and enjoy first-hand.

There have been a number of iterations of this initiative. While there is no permanent location (yet), there is a robust slate of prototype exhibits, pilot events, supported by a core team and helpful advisers. There is also a new “history” of how it all came about.

The current focus is on providing a 3D “virtual edition” to illustrate a vision of what the museum could become if there were space and resources to create a real life version.
